How do ceramic braces work?

Ceramic braces work just like metal braces - the only difference is the material used. The brackets of ceramic braces are made from translucent or tooth-coloured ceramic, which helps them discreetly blend in with your smile.

Ceramic brackets are also designed with more rounded corners, which can decrease rubbing and increase comfort for the wearer. Sometimes, we even do a mix of ceramic and metal braces, so you can get the best of both treatments.

How to care for ceramic braces

Ceramic braces are durable and stain-resistant: but only if you take proper care of them! You should try to avoid very hard or sticky foods during treatment, as these can dislodge your brackets.
